I have recently upgrade my laptop to Windows XP Home since that Microsoft dose not support Windows ME any longer. The problem I am know having is that the laptop freezers or locks up. could this be to the HDD drive is only 20 Meg ( I think shall have to check later) The CPU is a Celeron 700 MHz Please could you advise me if it is possible to upgrade the CPU to 1.6 MHz or will have to junk the laptop. To which I am very reluctant to do. Or should I restore it to Windows ME Thank you for you time
I would stick with windows ME. Until you can afford a new laptop. Then you can play with the old one and salvage its screen maybe give it to me?
