-Jv- <- That sounds great m8! :thumb: Hope you are going to love it like I do! :)

On with the update! I got a massive amount of pictures for you, gotta see how many to put up! :)
Since I've run out of larger things to do until I get the pump from the States, I thought I get on with the little things: Testassembly, brackets to hold everything together, reorganizing etc.

    Empty case:

I found out that I had run out of space for the pump! :wallbash:

But luckily everything could be moved around a bit, and all is well! :thumb:

Waterblock mounted, reservoir mounted, radiator put in for a view:

Since this green pcb has been anoying me through the whole process, I found sollution!
I was going to put a plack with my MOTM nomination there:

But since that doesn't seem to happen *hint hint* I'm going to put the pump on there!

    Top put on:

When I got Mushkin to sponsor the memory, Michael asked me if I wanted them with heatsink. I told him that there was lots of room so it would be great! And I wasn't lying!

There's at least 1mm of clearence!

Front look at the res. I'm going to mount 90 degree elbows on there in stead of the straight fittings:

Since the waterblock has a lot of straight lines in it, from the blade-mill, I decided to go for something along those lines for the radiator exhaust.

When the cnc was done, I wasn't sure if I made a mistake or not:

But it's just the protective film that played a trick on me:

I'll have another update ready for you guys later today!

    Cya then! :)

You have mastered the beauty of simplicity. If only it was as easy as you make it seem.

Looks fantastic! I really like the overall look of this. Very simple but still extremely interesting. Great work! Can't wait for the next update :D Just hope it's before I leave work so I can see it before Monday

Dunno if you noticed, but you should file the edges that got cnc work on them. Aluminium is soft, so usually the ending edge will fold.

monkeyfun <- Ty very much! That's quite a compliment! :)

Mosquito <- Thanks a lot m8! :) I should have an update ready in about 1-2 hours! Hope that's soon enough! :)

Nitrixflare <- I'm going to assume you are talking about the milling for the airflow to the radiator. And yes, I will break the edges on that! :) But thanks for the heads up anyways! :)

No need to cater to me, but with that said...
Perfect! I figured being 6 hours behind would play to my advantage

    Mosquito <- I do my best! :)

So as promised, update #2 for the day!

When assembling the whole thing, I had to get the front on as well. I really dreaded this as it's not a 100% perfect fit. But it has to go in some day, so I thought I might as well try i out.

Low and behold, it was very easy to get in!

Kind of ran out of stuff to do until the pump gets here, so I sanded/polished the parts I could so they are ready for the final assembly:

Since I had an hour to spare and remembered that I only have 2 screws at the back to hold the top plate in place, I went on to make 2 little pieces to hold the whole thing together at the front. Kept it in line with the straight grooves on the waterblock, and the holes for the radiator:

Time to cut the little rings out:

    Done:

    Loosely Mounted:

A little view to see the whole picture of the straight lines:

Heh... They are kinda sharp, and I held them in my hand while tapping the M3 in the ends. Perfect lines, 3mm apart!

THAT's all I had for you guys today.

I thought I was going to get a break, but the USPS fairy came with the pump and 2 new fans today!

So next week I'll mill down the pump and put it in an aluminum housing. Stay on this channel to see how that's going to go down. (And keep your fingers crossed that I don't mess up this pump as well)

Okay, you have my vote for Mod of the Month, even though I haven't seen your competition or the month. You've got a ton of page views, so something should eventually click among the powers that be and you'll be discovered. :D

Based upon past actions, it may take your fourth or fifth build before they catch on and actually nominate you. You crank out these builds fairly quickly, too. By the time they notice, you're already done.

If you do include a plaque as a pump mounting plate, you have my permission to engrave my name as a supporter. I'd even go so far as to say that I'm an enthusiastic supporter. :thumb:

wahoomcdaniel <- Thx man! So the plaque would read: wahoomcdaniel, enthusiastic supporter!

In all fairness, my G5 was up for MOTM. And that was my first mod! :) And with all the amazing mods on Bit-tech, I think the moderators must feel like the devils advocate picking just 6 of them each month! :) I do however think that they do a great job finding the best ones! :thumb:

    That's friggen' sweet.
...Just a warning. If the average Texas Cop saw the insides of that computer, they would be sure it was a bomb. (I think the terror training for the police force here is just a Bond film marathon.)

AnG3L <- Very nice of you m8! :) I get by fine, and when my girlfriend is done with school in... 6-7 years, she might even start chipping in as well!

Don't think I could stop modding, even if I wanted to... It's more addictive than beer!

Waynio <- I can't say that I never miss a word or 2 either! :thumb: And thx a lot! :)

    Cheaps <- Ty sir! :)

    Sorry, couldn't resist!

Funny you should mention it, one of my co-workers actually came over to me when I was messing with a couple of things during workhours, and told me I should watch it if stopped by the police, as he thinks it looks like a bomb!

But since I don't plan on driving into any embassies or anything in the near future, the swedish customs is all I have to worry about... Don't think they will shoot it out of the back of my car!
