    hi all,

I need help recognizing this one :
    http://www.pctip.co.il/avner/DSCF0073.JPG

    isn't that a quartz ??

it's origin is a Sherwood receiver, and it had one leg broken.

I have to get a new one.

in case it is a quartz, is it 4.500 Mhz ? 4.500 Khz ?

    Thanks,
    Avner

    OKAY UPDATE !!!!
I could finally solder that little one...

Now this receiver has digital tuner, so LCD screen :))
the LCD screen was backlighted by two little (4-5mm) light bulbs (12v).

these light bulbs were lighted even when the tuner was off :duh:
it created a lot of un-needed heat, especially when the tuner didn't work (because of this crystal).

in short, now the tuner is working, I could solder the crystal back in place,
also, i changed those !@$%#&@$#% light bulbs, to blue leds :naughty:

    so.....
