Computex 2016 starts next Monday and I will be live-tweeting on Tues 31st (@bindibadgi). Before that I enjoy a game of soothsaying. I predict we will see: 1) Custom 1080s and 1070s everywhere. 2) X99 refresh boards that we haven't already seen (ROG one already leaked by OC3D) 3) Polaris 10/11 launch and custom boards by partners. 4) Broadwell-E 5) Some early Kaby Lake motherboards 5b) Definitely Kaby Lake laptops without CPU expressly stated - since Intel will prioritize NB first. 6) New gaming laptops with Nvidia and AMD mobile hardware 7) Possibly some Zen boards (from ASUS, given ASMedia are making the entire PCH), but unlikely. 8) New special edition cases from In Win and Lian Li. 9) More 80Plus Ti PSUs and SFX, but unlikely anything that interesting 10) Mini-STX boards, cases and barebones 11) Everything has RGB. Every.thing. 12) SSDs that will never be launched. 13) VR things 14) Robots and AI Anyone else?
haha - in that case Computex 2016 sounds awesome Very interested to see what manufacturers are planning regarding the 1080s and 1070s - particularly whether there will be anything new and innovative or whether it'll just be the same again as with previous generations (i.e. EVGA with their ACX / Classys, ASUS with the Strix etc etc)
Point number 11. A million times. What about something from the cooling companies? More high-end air stuff? Or new AIOs?
You're doing it the wrong way round! LEDs that are also SSDs. Storing your data as awesome looking light effects!! *runs off to apply for patent*
Might cop some flak for this one but - 15: That 'booth babes' are, depressingly, still a thing... 15.1: They are covered in RGB LEDs
Every year they are there - it's fulfilled by young girls who want to "break into modelling industry" and have their own FB/Insta pages with followers (exhibitionists. They sometimes chose preferred fan photographers), and club-girls (mostly prostitutes) doing daylight hour work. There's a willing supply as there is a market. There are different agencies from the classy and legitimate modelling agencies (which the top tier companies use) aaaand the rest that send a bus load to your office and the boss sits there in his chair, points and picks them out. Disgusting. And yes I wouldn't be surprised if the logos they have stuck all over them now have LEDs too. RGB SSDs were on show last year! You just couldn't select the colour, it rotated.
