    Hello guys....

I think you was wondering why I'm not posting like before... The Reason is because I was on a holiday :) so had no internet access and wanted to stay away from computers ( Take a break )

I went on this holiday for about 2.5 months and I left my computer turned off and I unplugged all the cables. But when I came back and Turn on my computer... After like 5 mins it freezes and /i need to restart it from the switch... I tried to Format the windows, clean the hardware and changed ram slots.. same problem...

Edit : I'm sure that there is no overheating and the Power supply is fine for sure..

    Thanks

Try a boot cd, (Ultimate Boot Cd, Hiren's[my favorite], or even a copy of Ubuntu), and play around for a while, let it run, if it still freezes, it's probably not your HD, go to next step.
If it is still freezing on a live cd, You need to figure out if it's your ram, mobo, cpu, or psu.
Keep testing with a live cd, as it should allow you to get through your tests a little faster.
Usually I would start with ram from another pc, as it's probably the easiest to change. Make sure it's a supported type for your problem pc.
Then I would change PSU's from a working pc, again, as it's usually easier to change than a mobo/cpu. I know you said you know for sure it's good, but for the amount of time it takes to test it vs. cpu/mobo, why not?
Next up is probably cpu/mobo, and if you've gotten this far, it might be time to take it to a Pc Repair shop, as they should have a cpu/mobo to test with if you don't.

Welcome back, CK. Hope you had a good holiday!

Bit of a bummer you've come back to a PC that doesn't want to play :(

Agree with B3CK's advise, rule things out for sure.

Try it with one stick of ram and make sure the hsf is on securely - possibly re-seat it if possible and maybe clean off and redo the thermal goop if you have any.

Thanks kenco_uk :) I really missed the forums... and the holiday was not bad.. too many things happened :) I will write about it soon.

And yeah it makes you feel depressed that you come to a PC that don't want to play :( or even to work or surf internet.

    Thanks buddy

Me too buddy ;) Nice to see all of you again :)

Yeah buddy. They are perfect. That why I'm sure it's not from overheating.
