I thought I had seen it all with the Doctor Who Tardis case.

I assume when you turn the train on, it puffs smoke and starts rolling along the track.

I'm not so sure that Lian-Li were taking cues from Mountain Mods' cases, so much as Mountain Mods were taking cues from Lian-Li - or does no one else remember the PC-343?

As is usual at Computex, though; some great ideas, some bonkers ideas and some excellent ideas that will never see the light of day...

'These cut-through ports on the rear of Lian Li's new cases allow all-in-on liquid cooler radiators to be mounted externally.' Erm, how?

Look more closely at the picture; the holes for the hoses are part of the hole for the fan cutout- you can feed the whole pump/cooling block through the hole and then mount the rad over the fan cutout externally with the hoses poking through the hole too.

The hose grommets have slots in their edges so that you can slide them over / around the hose without having to remove them, drain & refill the rad.

Other sites are reporting that Silverstone had a new FT04 prototype to replace the FT02. Would be nice to have an update here.

Have a pic of that, but its basically the RV04 with a sleeker front; again, early prototype.

As the holes are now slots you can slide the radiator (tubing attached) into place and then attach the fan through the case. Obviously for an all in one this would require grommet removal, or slot-in grommets.

This. Thought that sentence was a bit weird too.

Ah, OK. I couldn't find an original release date for the U2-UFO, and I didn't remember hearing much about MM before about 2008/9.

I remember the server my school had being one of these big 'fridge sized' PCs. No idea who made it - probably Intel or HP or another big played in the workstation/server market. Horrible beige coloured thing that sounded like a jet engine. That was back in the mid/late-90s, so they've been around for year and years, although only recently in the enthusiast market. :)

would still be nice to see it, considering it's the replacement of arguably the best air cooling case of the past few years :)
