Windows Condemned criminal origins problem

Ok people, i have a problem.

I recently got condemned (pc version) and i like it, however it keeps crashing on me.

I'm at the final chapter (10), just beyond the bridge, and my game constantly crashed and tells me 'condemned.exe doesn't work anymore'

I've tried reinstalling a few times, no other problems or crashes.

I'm running vista home premium on my 2gb DDR2, 1,7 gHz core duo GM945 laptop (framerates and graphical quality are crap, but i can live with that)

Any help please?

Solved it.

I uninstalled everything, restarted a few times, then reinstalled, set it to 1280*800, everything low and copied my savegames back. Seems to work ok now.

Condemned crash

hi alpha prime, i have the same problem with 'Condemned' but i cant seem to solve it. i uninstalled and reinstalled but unlike yours, it still crashes at the same (bridge) spot. can u help me and guide me step by step how u solved it. thanks

 

It's been a long time, but I did have to uninstall and reinstall a few times. after uninstalling I had to reset my pc before reinstalling, that seemed to fix it.

 

what if you cant uninstall it?
when i click the uninstall option, it does absolutely nothing

 

delete the folder & the reg file & reboot ur pc

 

Funny you mention this game cos i just installed it 2 days ago, not played it yet though.

 

I too have this game and haven't played it yet. Wonder if it fares better on Win7.

Ironically I have never been able to finish this game, as it always crash like mad on the last level. Even still I think it is a fairly good game otherwise. I wish they would have released 2 on pc.

 

+1, i flat out refuse to play ANY fps style game on a console!
