AWWW APPLE GONE ****ED UP NOW!
odds on a corporate pr nightmare? or Gizmodo is in the wrong?
Curioser and Curioser... The siezure of Chen's gear may be initself illegal:
Saw a great tweet today about this REACT raid.
As I said earlier in the thread, I have serious problems with the way Gizmodo acquired and reported on the new iPhone. But I have an even bigger problem with corporations using the police to do their bidding.
I would bet my life that before these computers are returned, Apple will be given access to them.
Didn't this happen with the 3GS ? By that it was 'found' in a airport a few months before release ?
As they say there's nothing wrong with raising your profile and getting everyone talking about a product before it's even hit the market.
A very clever ploy be it real unit or not.
I already posted that, keep up GOO
According to Reuters, there may be legal grounds for the search and destroy
as it's an investigation in to a possible "theft".
This has all gone too far now. I can't even be bothered to explain my position on it exactly. Lets just say that I hate how the entire thing has unfolded and I disagree with the views and actions of all parties involved in some way. I wish someone would just sweep this away under a carpet somewhere, everyone could forget it ever happened, and that Apple could launch the new iPhone this summer the way they originally intended.
You hadn't when I was composing my post!
I love how this is going.
It's almost as exciting as an episode of House.
I love it to. Only it's not exciting just disappointing at how the parties involved have behaved.
Bring in a hot bisexual with a numerical name and we might be talking.
Guy who 'found' the phone tracked down?
This is interseting, especially in light of the finder's ascertion that it wasn't about monetary gain:
Wired identifies the 4g finder:
This will definately not end well for anyone involved.
Someone lost another one
This one has turned up in Vietnam in the hands of a man who likes to hit it. As it's there, there's a good chance it's a production model - it looks a bit cleaner with better seams and the screws have disappeared from the bottom.
Humm .. so besides hitting it and not putting a sim card in he's done nothing with it ?
Makes me think it's a scam, considering he's not shown an app running or any features of the os. But then i could just be a doubting tomas )
It has been confirmed now... June 11th here we come!
so far I can see heavy rumors about June 11th.
Any facts? Sauce?
This year's Apple Worldwide Developers Conference runs from 7th-11th of June, if nothing happens on one of those days then I'll eat my keyboard.
ditto! and my mouse and the mouse mat
Pics or it didn't (won't) happen.
