Hello i have almost completed my water cooling kit [Custom Built] but the one thing that is putting me off is the fact that i am not 100% sure on what water to put in it and how much and what addatives and how much i have decided i want to put green uv dye in their but how much of this do i put in. people keep giving me all these ratios and too be honest i dont really know how these are measure in water adn fluid. Could someone please shed some light on this area.
    Cheers

Water - Distilled is pretty common
UV Dye - Depends on desired effect and the makers specs...Best to contact the seller for information on ratios
Other Addatives - Same as above really as different products have different specs....

You'll get deionised water from any car accessory shop like Halfords or most larger garages or other hardware stores like B&Q

/.......and green uv dye is one of the best to react under black light and is really powerful, i found around 3 - 4ml is enough for most normal set-ups.

distilled is better - its just boiled water: less oxygen, no crap in it. Deionised just removes the ions, not the crap. As soon as you put it into a metal block itll reionise again.

That's my chemical theory anyway. No doubt youll complain its like a pinch of salt, just like mixing metals. :p

I think deionised is slightly cleaner than your basic tap water tho ;)

I should really get an evaporator and condenser to make some of my own 'clean' water :D
