Going to add an OCZ Vector 150 240GB to my PC (already using a smaller OCZ SSD), and was looking at attaching it to one of two extra SATA 6.0 Gb/s connectors.

There are 4 x 3.0Gb/s connectors that have 2 x drives already attached that make it tricky to plug into the 3rd and 4th 3.0 sockets - and given there are an additional 2 x SATA 6.0 sockets, they would seem the ideal place to plug the new Vector 150 into?

However noticed the manual for the Mobo (Asus P8P67 deluxe) says that the 2 x SATA 6.0 "are for data drives only" and that "ATAPI is not supported". Long story short, am I ok to plug the new SATA 6.0 SSD into one of these available SATA 6.0 sockets given that the manual says they're for "data drives only" - which is what I assume the SSD is in this case??

    Thanks.

Yes that's fine. ATAPI is an interface for DVD-RWs and the like so an SSD wont be affected by the lack of it. Plugging the SSD into those ports will be fine, though speeds might not be as fast as if it was plugged into the native SATA6 ports, which are coloured grey on your motherboard.

ATAPI is not supported just means don't use them for CD/DVD drives.
