Xbox 360 Connecting Xbox 360 to Xbox Live through PC

    I swear I read you had a DVI socket, sorry about that :lol: in that case as the breakout box comes with an HDMI cable that would be the way to go :rock:

    I don't think you can use a standard USB headset, no. All of the game sound is sent out of the HDMI/AV socket and there isn't a way to install drivers to change this. Also the chat microphone goes in to the controller via a 2.5mm plug.

    You could get an RCA>3.5mm female cable, plug that in to the AV cable/breakout box and then plug some standard headphones in to that for the game sound. I got a Turtle Beach headset for Christmas - these have both a 2.5mm plug for the chat sound and a 3.5mm for the game sound; might be worth investigating.

    Right, cheers mate. I might just plug headphones into my monitor seeing as it has a jack for it. That should save me some time (and money :D).

    Yup that's the cheapest option fo' sho'. If you want to chat as well then you could plug speakers in to the monitor and use the supplied 360 headset - sorted :thumb:
