Ok here is the low down, I currently connect to the internet (stonking T3 connection ) via a VNP connection over LAN, The server that i connect to has a proxy server installed and we use that to surf with. Its a socks v5 proxy and no ports are blocked to us. My question is why on earth cant i play games or use anything that uses UDP packets? I managed to get MSN video working (UDP) with a program called sockscap but it wont work for any other program. Any ideas? or should i spend the cash to get a DSL line put in? /edit our internet connection is supplied by JANET
