OK have a bunch of rj11 line 100 feet of it and im going to use it for fan wire using phone plugs and such as connectors. THe only thing i need to get is jacks and plugs. I have plugs and jacks picked out that match but im not sure how you would mount these jacks. Jacks Now i know they mount to pcbs but what kind. There is alot of different types. All i need is space for 4 plugs lined up so the board doesnt have to be hugh. Could i possibly make my own board. I dont need all the holes im not going to be running any complicated wire setups on it just put the jacks on it and done. So basically can i make a mounting solution for them or do i need to buy some type of pcb. IF i do what kind.

YEa if ive seen people double up the wires and use 2 wires for each fan wire it worked. I would think it would work i mean i got the idea from gruntivilles guide to power panel mod. And if it doesnt work ohwell im out 10 bucks and have to order some new stuff. Yout know what scratch that. Im going for rca plugs i finally found what i was looking for in them so i can use rca plugs instead.
