Wow, I have posted a lot of hardware related questions in the past few days. I should say here that all opinions and help is appreciated. I was recently looking at an IPAQ 4150. But after having a play around with it, I decided that my best bet woudl be to get a pda phone, like the XDA2 or the similar I-mate Pocket PC. The first question I have, is does anyone know if these are actually different units? or are they essentially the same , but repackaged? Here are some images, kindly provided by Amazon, whose bandwidth I am leeching. I don't know of this is permitted....(they are megacorps...) Anyone know of any reason why I shoudl get one over the other? I can pick up the I-mate on Vodaphone for £99 + £30 per month package. I think i prefer the look of the XDA2. Anyone seen a similar deal? Had any experience with this? I know there are a few ppl here who are pretty good with mobiles Inder, GT3 God. As I said before, any opinions will be appreciated....(and cheak UK deals too ). I think I am leaning more towards the XDA2..... EDIT: Or can anyone DO me a deal?
i dont know about the xda and i-mate being the same they certainly look the same but i know that the xda2 and orange's version of that the spv m1000 (which hasnt being launched yet due to problems which orange know about in the unit but o2 deny) are made by the same company and is effectively the same unit rebranded. other options that you have that are smartphones would be like the current orange spv e200 and the upcoming e500 which im interested in.....im assuming your looking for windows in particular. hope this helps
I'm really looking for a IPAQ clone with the phone integrated, cos I can't be bothered to carry the lot around...
This wont help, but if anyone knows a good deal they'll be doing me a favour too - I'm looking to get one of these. (Phone, pocketpc and mp3 player between them take up all your pockets!)
I would say my favourite phone at the minute is the Sony Ericsson P900, it is teh cool ya? So many features, and great pr0n capabilities.
