I believe anywhere between £300-£500... thats a guesstimate!! go to www.soldam.com they will give you a exact UK price including VAT and shipping, www.soldam.co.jp has a wider range than at soldam.com...

The cases are all aluminium, don't think they make a plastic case!

Some alu cases have plastic front bezels. maybe that white one with the translucent bezel is one, but the black and blue one seem to be alu also.

The Soldams are very nice looking cases, unfortunately they are also very expensive. I priced on out a "Supremo" with all the assessories and it came out to like $1,100 cnd :eeek:

As much as I covet one, there are equally as nice cases for less.

I'm not a big fan of the angled cases like those shown and the Enermax ones, maybe it will take time to grow on me.

Getting REALLY unfriendly to 56k, :)

All the cases are alu, some have designer plastic front bezels, but the cases are inherently aluminium. I'm not sure about angled cases either, but I did quite like that one...

As for the price, well whats the difference between £300 and £450 when looking at cases? if you have the much to spend then its probably not important, :)

I do like Coolermaster, the ATC-110 is a fantastic looking case... Other faves are the ATC-400, ATC-210 and ATC-710... oh and the 600 as well, :)

    ATC-110 with Exotix paint job...

Hehe :p Nah not all of them but 90% of the coolermaster cases are gorgeous , the lians and soldems to me always have a slightly tacky feel to them . The best alu case for looks has to be this http://www.frozencase.com/frozen.asp?menu=home

And the falcon cm110 is flippin amazing :) But any chance of shrinking the image a touch it only takes a min :)

    Yeah that

    and this one

    look like great alternatives, :)

Lian Li look fairly flimsy if you ask me, I liked Soldam because it had the looks of Coolermaster, but isn't so common, :)

Sorry about the massive pic, its the connection I'm on, everything downloads instantly, just stop thinking about how long something will take to download, :D

Now now guys, don't be dissin Lian-Li just so you can be "Elitist B's"

The differences are not as apperant as you would like to make them be. Then maybe I'm just a "poor" Lian-Li owner.

    All are nice cases.

    :sigh:

I like the Lian-Li (PC-60, PC-70, PC-75, PC-78 in particular), but they don't look as hq as others... mind you as i have never seen any case over £30 for real this is somewhat subjective, ;)

I have seen and played with both before making my decision for what fit my needs best.

Yes the Cooler masters have some nicer details, but that does not make Lian-Li's summarily flimsy or crap. That's just generalization that is unwarranted.

They both have pros and cons in execution of what is called a PC case.

I've always considered CM cases more form than function and Lian Li cases more function than form.

    GunDam, that's a good analogy.

Nothing wrong with Form over Function, but I'm more the latter.

The doors on the CM's are very nice, but they would just get in the way of my day to day PC use.

The Lian's I have seen and worked on havent been close to the coolermasters I've owned , its a preferance I have others may differ but the quality of a coolermaster case is better , then again you pay more as a rule for a cm :)

Haven't been close? Please, you make it like it's 180 degrees of separation here when in fact it's more like 1 if even.

They all hold circut boards, How close does it have to be? It's not like they are called on to support life dependant issues.

I'll give you a CM is a nice case, no argument there, but to use it as an "Elitist B" statement to put down a Lian-Li is well, just that......

Let's just be happy that we can somehow afford a Lian-Li, which I think is a very decent alu case already. CM alu cases really look great, but the price turns me away. I'd rather get upgrade stuff for my system than purchase a CM. A $150 Lian-Li is already too much for the average modder.

To comment on those angled cases, I don't like the idea either. I just seem to think about the wasted space that angle makes.
