I am in the market for a new desk and want something not too big, but not too small and also very modern.

Anyone got any cool sites for modern and cool desks? Or have one themselves they think is worth looking at?

    Thanks

Dunno where you're from but if you're in the states try OfficeMax or Office Depot. I got my desk from there and it's glass and modern looking.

4th for ikea, i prefer their buisness desk system, you can actually have a desk that understands there are these people who are tall.

wasn't cheap thou :( but its certainly lasting.

    1.go to ikea
    2.pick a top
    3.pick legs
    4.buy
    5.take home
    6.assemble
    7. ???
    8.profit
    :D

personally i picked the biggest top they did and 4 legs that adjust nice and high so i can actually sit at it properly without lifting up the top with my knees :p
think it was a little over £100 in the end :)

Although I hate argos (mainly because there stuff is poor quality, and usually breaks), but I found the perfect desk there.
It's for a corner of a room, has a deep back for any monitor, and an attachable shelf for printer.

my bad drawing of top of desk:-

The top is in 3 parts, hence the lines.

What type of case do you have? because i saw an ad for one by Lian-Li called F1 and it matchs their cases (the v1000 plus). its well smart.

Think you can buy them from miniland-tech and bossecomputers (both UK based).

I recommend Ikea, or walmart ;p Oddly enough you can find great desks real cheap on the right day at walmart. The one I'm using right now retailed for $120, I got it for $30 :)

Who would pay £3K for a desk?!

Ikea again, got my tabletop with a funky sheet of aluminium wrapped round it for pretty cheap and only had to buy 1 leg as screwed wooden beams into my wall in the corner for it to sit on. All in all it was very cheap :D

I have an IKEA desk and I love it. Best desk I've ever had, and was dirt cheap.
