    Just pulled apart an 80mm Y.S. Tech fan (FD1281255s) and an 80mm Evercool (EC8025M12S), and there a little different to the ones you did the guide with, insted of a circlip they use 2 plastic washers, and a rubber seal, and at the base of the shaft there is another rubber seal, looks like its insted of the spring which i cant seem to find, or the bearings for that matter (maybe im blind :p).

    And when you need to solder the braid to the terminal, on the above fans its covered by plastic.

    Just thought id mention it so you dont need to kill a couple of fans :)
