Greetings, I picked up a HAF 932 case a while back for a build I am gonna do over Christmas. I really like the big case but absence of 3.0 USB kinda blows. Racked my brain for a long time trying to figure out how to mod in a 3.0. Picked up one of these JSER Vertical Dual USB 3.0 A Type Female to Motherboard 19Pin 20Pin Box Header Slot Adapter PCBA's from Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015HKX1ZI/?coliid=I28B05Z51XJFLO&colid=2ZGYBSX8MD3LD ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1. Wasn't sure till today how I was gonna pull it off but it went better than I thought it would. Original board. Desoldered the 2.0, note it is a pain to get off with the solder that is on there so flow a bunch of new solder on it to make it easier to remove. So, I came up with the idea to solder it upside down on the board. I soldered some scrap wire to lift it up ever with the other plugs. Lifts soldered in place. I realized I could solder some scrap wire parallel with the solder tabs. You have to pre-tin the USB case with solder then hold the wire with tweezers and flow it in. All 4 pins soldered in place. All soldered in and pretty darn plumb. Back side view. And son of a gun... Looks like it belongs there, except for being up side down...
