http://img53.exs.cx/my.php?loc=img53&image=just20gr.jpg ok the kit that is 175£ comes with the tdx block (tdx kit) and contains 4 mounting holes for the board but just as i was about to place the order i found the tdx a64 block but this has just two mounting bracket things check that link above, so basically i ent moving till i no for sure , ps iv tried workin it out but cant , i have a soc 939 abit av8-3rd eye please help me , or dosnt it matter check this pic, i have put the red arrows indicating the 4 holes on the out side and the blue as the 2 holes (which i belive hold the sort of plastic sub frame of which the hsf sits in)
The blue arrows are the ones that you'll be mounting the waterblock with. No idea what those things marked by the red arrows are. However, the kit that I think you're talking about (this one, no?) has a different block which has mounts included for all sorts of sockets.
so basically i need the block in the link i gave? the kit i want is this one but the block is differnet to the one in the link
as you can see the kit contains the block with 4 mounting holes , but the a64 block contains 2 holes , this is were im getting confused ,
Just a little furthur down on the TDX Hi-Flow Bundle page is this: So I would imagine it would come with the 2 hole A64 block. I'm sure Paul will come and clear this up eventually.
yer wkd , its doind my head in lol speacialy as my board has those 4 holes then the 2 holes aswell, so basically i put please containd the a64 block (in the special notes bit) paul ..... help lol
Add it to your basket and it'll probably ask what type of TDX you want (in this case A64) If you're still confused drop Paul a mail and i'm sure he'll help you out
In fact I would imagine it would by standard come with the 4-hole Socket A block (as pictured)...so good thing you specified
ok i mite email him, cant i just private mail him? yer i would imagen if i asked for the a64 tdx cpu block id get it lol
The kit which you want to buy specifies: When you order the kit, you will find a "Special Notes" section to fill out on the Buy page. Simply state in there that you want an Athlon 64 block. You will then be sent the correct kit. If you leave that section blank, you are sent a Socket A block per default. If you want to e-mail Paul, please do so via the shop e-mail address.
