Modding Coolermaster Cosmos Mod question???

Hey guys and gals,
Trying to remove the plastic quick release tabs for the optical drives so I can sand and paint the interior of the chassis. Can anyone give me quick three step procedure for doing so? I have tried to slide them backward, but to no success.

Working on a nice little Cosmos mod that I think I'm gonna start a project log on. I'll see what happens.

 

Be better to ask Coolmeister, I'd assume - he's currently modding a Cosmos also.

Wish I had the case so I could tell you but I don't. What color are you going to paint the interor?

 

Thinking about black but I might go for a dark steel grey. Basically gonna do the entire steel chassis. Sanded almost everything down with 220 grit, but I need to get the quick release tabs off yet.
