Not good ones I think lol Sleepygamer, costs deducted, confirmed by paypal and redirected to CM's site and confirmation of order being processed.
As it is being purchased through what appears to be up front retail, it should be 'paid' (for lack of a better word) i.e no letters in the post demanding more moneys I'm not sure, but didn't it say something about the method used to post the items, can anyone remember what it was?
Okay, literally 2 seconds after i made my payment my common sense kicked in, what's the deal with this site? It looks kind of half-arsed.
I only remember it said allow up to 2 weeks for delivery in the eu. Also no import tax on e.u. Originating goods according to business link. Also if value is 0 then tax too must be 0 if tax is applicable anywhere?
It's an e-commerce scripty thing, it's a bit odd for a market leader to be using one when they have people employed for the sole purpose of creating such things, but...I guess CM would have noticed a rogue trader operating under that domain name. edit: I don't remember the name of the script, but I think it's from Canadian Devs.
Yeah, they seriously need to update that site. It looks like it was made in Frontpage about 10 years ago or something.
I used them a couple of times before, for parts for an aging praetorian. they are genuine, and if you keep checking back, there's some real bargains to be had there. I once bought 18 x Xion full atx cases from ebuyer for a penny each and they were delivered next day for a tenner!!
I'm trying to think of a scheme to lose money faster than Coolermaster...but I think giving away PC goods, and advertising it to one of the UKs largest PC enthusiast website is probably as good as it's going to get. CC
Man. I didn't realise it's Paypal -only-. I don't have anything in my Paypal to buy the ten Euro case. And I was all hyped up for it. Was gonna build a rig for my singer around it.
If payment has been made, it forms a "Contract of Sale" Allot of retailers (Play and such) have in their terms that payment will only be taken upon despatch, due to this. Coolermaster are obligated to do two things: - Provide you with the goods you paid for - Provide you with a refund, but then under "Loss of Bargain", pay the difference for you to purchase the item from elsewhere. It's upto them which they decide to do, for something like this, most will tend to just refund you and pay the odds that you won't bother going to small claims for Loss of Bargain. Unfortunately, the cases were $0, so any judge in small claims would likely rule against you in a claim for loss of bargain, due to it being pretty obvious a mistake. He will likely come to the conclusion that you tried to defraud coolermaster out of the case. This is becayse small claims is a reletively informal process compared to other tracks, so the judge can use a much broader criteria in which to make his ruling.
