Hexus take a butchers at the Wavemaster case from Coolermaster:

"The external design of the case is outstanding. The front and sides are brushed aluminium offering a sleek and stylish appearance. This is the first time we've seen a "wavy" designed case from Cooler Master, taking another small step away from the standard box shape that computer cases have always been. The sleek design of the case would look good on any modern computer desk."

So, Alaric - "Wipeout" or "Primo"? ;)

GOO apologises unreservedly in his improper use of surfing slang. GOO recommends only experienced surfers use such terms....

    pffft, can't really decide tbh.

First time I saw the promotional image of it I thought it looked appalling. Seeing the images in the article, with it more in context and from different angles, I've warmed to it more. The more imaginative shaping of alu for the front is something I feel has been lacking, for no apparent reason I can see. I personally like doors, but would have prefered the front to be convex not concave looking, and maybe more conventional.

The ports on the top would be useless to me because I keep my computer on the desk, but obviously those who keep them on the floor may find it more useful. I don't know which is more common tbh. Not sure about losing the top blowhole either.

I'd say it's probably average, I wouldn't buy one, but I can see quite a lot of people would.

I welcome some innovation in the manufacturing techniques, though I'd have designed it looking a lot different :p

    Alaric.
