    I've just read this this

Basically it's a small ion pump consisting of an emitter and a collector that propells air particles across the surface of a microchip. However the whole cooling device is just few microns in sixe. And uses little electricity to significantly perform its cooling function.

even with that ion pump that chip is still toasty, around 40C. Its cool tech but at least 5 or more years down the pipe.

Maybe incorporating those onto some heatsinks mounted right above the chip. Like an addon thats right there mini heatsink to increase SA for thermal transfer.

There's also the idea of using technology similar in scale to this for watercooling, built into the chip.
