ok i am thinking of buying the Vapochill Lightspeed AC in Black

here is the link of it if that doesn't work go to here then--> vapochil at the top --> Vapochill Units --> then 3rd from bottom. But i have a friend who has this but says it is quite loud... now this can't do :grr: wondering if anyone has this and couold find out for me whether its the noise of cooling the vapochill or the actual noise of it creating the coldness. I think its both in which case does anyone think it could be possible to cool the vapochill by a big rad i have (aqua computer 1800). Would be a nice thing :) thanks

The compresser usaly makes a slight hum, but its the intake fan that makes makes most of the noise, but in the Lightspeed they usaly have to be near 70%+ of there full speed to work affectivly, there for the noise :sigh: , somepeople on procooling tryed to watercool the condenser rather than use a fan and it dint go to well :(

ok thanks for info, few things stopping me from buying it.. it wouldn't fit under my desk (while attached to my computer) and also my computer would then be nearly impossible to lift (to go to lans) and yes i go to lans often enough (hosted by moi :p ) to worry about this and lastly the obivous one .. money
