Did you find the rest of the finger?

I don't drink beers. As evident at the mods meet, DoubleJimBeamBlackAndCokePlease®

Hey Dad (and anyone else in the US), you should try a Fat Tire made by the New Belgium Brewing Co. (it's in my first photo). It's a kick ass amber-ale made right in the city where I live.

There is one good thing about the american macro-brews, they're dirt cheap and are a great replacement for water during a night of heavy drinking :p .

Never even seen Fat Tire, but will try it if I come across it.

Micro brews aren't dirt cheap, some are actually more expensive than imported beer and are far from watery! If you ever get a chance to try Wagner Sled Dog Tripplebock, you'll know what I mean. It's a meal in itself!

But not at our meet where you were drinking Stella over a vast array of other beers and spirits.

I was at a friend's house the other day and she was raving on about Fat Tire. I decided to try one and it wasn't too bad, iirc. Granted, it was after a full plate of chicken parmigiana and a couple galsses of wine. But still, wasn't too bad, for a microbrew.

I won though, because that beer was finished shortly after it posed for pictures. :)

good grief, am I the only one who doesn't drink?
I have nothing against those who do, and knew I was a minority, but I didn't know I was *alone* :p

    I'm not a heavy drinker...

I didn't drink for two years from the age of 16 to 18.

I'm a fan of fat tire myself, but haven't had the chance of trying any local microbrews.
I'll head over to a couple of local breweries and tell you what I think.

I tried a corona with lime last night...
It appears someone finally found out how to make beer a woman's drink :p
(I'll stick with beers that don't require fruit to taste good)

I only know one person with a job who can drink more than 6 cans of that stuff.

Personally I usually drink lager. My parents bought back a couple of crates of 'Bergadler Premium Pils' from France two weeks ago and its one of the nicest drinks i've had. Also works out about 40p for a 500ml bottle. Its 4.9% too.
