Cooling Copper or Alu ?

    If you decide for copper, you have to buy a copper rad also.
    This is because of the galvanic currents that are created between different tipe of material (Galvani made a battery out of this?)

    So the question is there are copper rads resellers for watercooling purposes?

    most waterblocks are made from copper ;) so he can use any rad (most of which are copper aswell) because no other watercoolers have had any problems :)

    lead, zinc and 6-12M sulphuric acid iirc - classic car battery? :eyebrow:

    No, i was referring simply to contact between two different metals. Irrc this leads to a potential difference and hence to current.

    potential difference = voltage

    but you need a PD to move current, so techincally ur right i spose :blush: heh

    Yea, 2 metals not the same = ion movement = baaaaaad :nono:

    use watter wetter and put sacrificial anodes in, that will prevent any corrosion in a loop
