I just bought a brand new Corsair 650D case. Incredibly, it seems the designers didn't consider people might want to put HDD caddies in the 5.25" bays. :eyebrow:

    don't fit!

I have various HDD Silencers, and NONE of them will fit in the 5.25" bays with the front Bezels on. Once you get past the struggle of pulling off the incompatible tool-less clips, the case Bezels have clips that go so far inside the case, so you can't fit a HDD caddy behind it.

I've had these silencers in all my PC builds, this is the first case I've come across that has such a basic oversight.

We were expecting this to be a hassle-free build because the case is supposed to be high end well designed, but £150 later and hours of struggling to improvise solutions, we're not impressed.

Does anyone know of any HDD silencers compatible with the Corsair 650D, or know of how to get them to fit? :duh:
