http://www.anandtech.com/weblog/showpost.aspx?i=577 Supprised this has not turned up here. Looks like they are on to a winner if the price is right. I'm hopeing that the hdd backplane has some kind of rubber gromits or it will be a huge let down. Also decent easily accessable dust filters are a must.
Looks very nice, I like the matte black interior, kudos to Corsair for going that extra little bit -- which in the overall scheme of things really pays off aesthetically. However, looking at the pictures with the case door removed ... I can't help but see the Antec P182's interior. The setup of the HDD cages, fans, etc all seem an almost identical configuration to the P182. That of course isn't a bad thing -- it's a fantastic case, and I'm sure Corsair using a similar approach only goes to show that Antec had done their homework and others are adopting their approach. Eitherway, hopefully Bit-Tech will have a review for us.
Better pics here: http://www.pcgameshardware.com/aid,...view-Precious-deluxe-tower-at-the-Cebit/News/ Cant really see anything in the way of HDD silencing or dust filters though. I suppose its still in pre-production but still.
Also it looks as if airflow in the front will be a bit on the lacking side. This case looks awesome to me and if Corsair only puts a couple more bits in (dust filters, silencing, etc,) I think this could be a big winner.
looks a little like a cooler master ATCS 840 and a li lian just made a love child! of course the price will be stupid like Zalman cases, but its nice to see someone is making a useble case for normal people with eyes. Antec 902 anyone, AHHHHHHHHHHHH my eyes!
First thing that popped into my mind was "Lian Li OEM", but there's definitely some Antec P182 lovin' in there too. I wonder if they'll do one without a window. I'm anti-bling and pro-class.
is it me or the motherboard in that picture looks tiny..... best feature i like is that you can keep the motherboard mounted while mounting a heatsink cooler backplate
I liked it when I came across it looking at stuff from CeBit, but it's a mix of steel and aluminum so it's not for me. It'll be in the $300 or so range too.
