    whilst it's low profile compared with the regular vengeance stuff... it's still standard sized RAM just without the huge heat spreader.

    when anyone mentions 'low profile' ram i think of this

    Is there actually any difference between vengeance and xms3 apart from the heatspreader?

    Nope, as long as you're referring to the 1.5v XMS3. Didn't stop me buying Vengeance RAM though :D (XMS3 was out of stock and pricier at the time).
