Nice!! Do you not think the pre-made kits take the fun out of watercooling though...

Having never watercooled myself I think that they actually take some of the terror out of watercooling (and cost - the H100i's not cheap but it's cheaper than a custom loop...)

    Edit: Oooh - mine's been dispatched :D

Mine was supposed to arrive today but I've just received notification it's been delayed until tomorrow - fairly poor considering I ordered it on Tuesday on a 'next day' service...

Worst thing is because of the hours I am working I can't touch it till Christmas day. Whilst you lot well brew having Christmas dinners I'll be having fun installing this.

Unsure whether to get h100i or h80i for i7 4790k running at stock (for the moment at least) also I hear corsair fans are noisy, I have 2 akasa piranhas ready and waiting, reckon these would be better for noise? Static pressure shouldn't be a problem.

Not sure about those fans to be honest - they may well be fine. The stock corsair ones are noisy but only on full whack - if you use the software to slow them down they're not too bad. I use SP120 quiet editions with my mine and they're lovely and quiet.

The stock should be OK for the moment at least then, I went with h100i and bought the corsair carbide spec 01 so nicely fit the rad, I'll use the piranhas for side and back and let you know :)

And as you say software is a backup, got hx850i PSU so It'll all be linked up to the 9's.

    Cheers bud
