£35 mouse is a budget mouse? Not mainstream, or popular price point, but budget?! Come on.
The reality that some idiots are willing to spend £100+ on a mouse does not relegate lower priced offerings.
I might call this "entry level", but budget it ain't - as you say. <£15 I'd call budget.
But then, I'm still using a Chinese clone of the Razer Deathadder that I found in Akihabara four years ago for what works out to around £8. It's not a perfect mouse (I do miss infinite scroll) but that said it's also lasted longer than any of my Logitech mice over the years; all of which developed either a dodgy scroll wheel or the double clicking issue after 18-36 months.
