I dont really like it, i think it looks too much like the Hypercube, and the head is just kinda...cheesy looking. Not to mention that the puzzlebox was more of a goldish brown than a black. But i do love the etching and the lighting.

Everyone to their own i suppose. I think it looks incredible, that etching is seriously god-like work. I think the head is simple, yet effective hellraiser stylee :D, kinda unexpected if you have been looking at the hypercube first.

Wicked and spooky! I like it even tho it would give me nightmares. And yes the etching is god-like if he did it by hand. :thumb:

thx for all the positive feedback and the negative one to a build like this cant please everyone since it is kinda far out :) In the end its all up to personal taste. It was great fun building the thing and even better when i started getting free stuff for my efforts :D

    Awsome mod, and skilled etching.

A bit of trivia I read on the movie, originaly the character's head was only going to be a grid. (no nails) The artist making the head was using nails to layout the grid. It of course looked totaly evil and they decided to put nails into the final mask.

I heard just the opposite: the designer layed out the grid to space the nails, and the director liked the grid pattern and decided to run with it. Seems to make sense, since the character's name is Pinhead.

Awesome mod, by the way! I'm awed by your etching skills, Wolverine.
