Am I running out of luck on there ram as the last 4 sets I have purchased from scan have ended up being rma,d. I personally prefer to use gskill for my systems but the set I wanted were not available. I'm not dissing there products or flaming as I do love corsair products just wanted to see if others have been having problems as well
Only 4 in a row? A few years ago, a friend of mine went through 5 pairs of Corsair DDR2 before getting a pair with no errors. I gave up after the second pair, but my record is about 6 bad modules in a row, for some Kingston DDR. The problem rate went down to zero after I switched to modules whose chip part numbers could easily be read from the chips.
A few years ago I had 3 bad batches of Corsair RAM DDR2 used on 2 different motherboards. While it took a while for replacements to arrive the last replacement set I got were an upgrade to a better specced and double the size (2 x 1GB to 2 x 2GB) version which is still in use.
I had a problem with three different sets of Corsair Vengeance 2x4GB 1600 MHz which refused to run in dual channel on my motherboard. Eventually, I went with a pair of G Skill 2133 MHz which worked a lot better.
