News Corsair reveals new K70 and K65 keyboards plus two new mice

Corsair shows off a few nice new models in its peripherals range.

If they ditched the volume controls and Corsair logo from the top of the board, the K65 would look awesome.

It's unfortunate that they've gone for cheaply printed keycaps and then made the bottom row non-standard, so they'll be tricky to replace.

I also think the brighter finish on the full size boards is nicer than the "gun metal" finish on the K65.

 

Thats like asking an automotive manufacturer to not put their emblem on the hood of the vehicle lol, personally I think it looks great the way it is. I can't stand small keyboards because I have big mitts, but as far as aesthetics go I think they did an awesome job.

A mech. keyboard is definitely my next PC purchase, now I just need to decide what color cherry's...

 

The K65 looks ok, although why the odd bottom row I've no idea, just makes keycaps more difficult/expensive to buy

 

Well, if cars had badges that took up a similar amount of the product to that corsair badge, they'd be enormous. If it has to be there, make it subtle, else it detracts from the otherwise sleek design. Filco have the right idea, plus a more attractive logo to begin with.

Oh, and this isn't really a "small" keyboard, it's the same size as any other in terms of keys and spacings. It's just the numpad that's been lopped off.

 

Love my K70 but I like the look of that raptor might look at it

 

Just got mine today, pure awesomeness.

Only thing I'd have prefered is white LED's so I could mod the colour nice & easy with transparent tinted vinyl, can still change the colour like that but not as good as if it was white instead of blue.

 

Glad you like it. Much prefer it to my K90. In black with the red keys just looks so sexy

 

i want this but with white backlit keys, would buy one right now
