But i can just clear coat over the panel, I don't have to remove the window right? I can it's no big deal, but I can't remove the bolt. if I like the clear coat I'll do the panels because they get moved a a lot, but some of the other stuff maybe not.

Ha! I meant "lightning" but apparently my fingers went and got quick on me again. The lighting will be good too, I'm sure. Another site you could try for parts, although I haven't bought anything from them as of yet, is http://www.performance-pcs.com. They sometimes have what frozencpu does not.

You get buried in snow last week down there or what? One report I read said Wolf Creek got 67".

Thanks, I found some yellow lighting at performance pc's, thats a big help, a little pricey but I think this will work.
    http://www.performance-pcs.com/cata...e=product_info&cPath=72_107&products_id=27096
I might need two of them to make it even though which will get expensive. Here are some other suggestions, could I had this http://www.performance-pcs.com/catalog/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=72_109&products_id=514 bulb to this kit http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produ...re=red_4"_cold_cathode-_-11-994-005-_-Product or would it not work.

I coult always get the yellow bulb with a seperate inverter and all, or get one more powerfull set, what do you think?

we did get buried in snow last week, four feet in town (Durango).

That would a cool alternative to the flash lighting or in the drive bays, The only problem is I'm having a hard time finding one that would fir at a resonable price, in fact I'm hacing a problem finding some at all. I assume i would have to use a battery powered one (or at leas that would be the easiest).

I wonder what the power draw is, because the way those things work they relay on high voltage (but again so do CC's). If you found one please let me know.

Thanks for all the ideas, input, and help guys.

Edit: I found some at target and walmart, but their the standard purlple sphere's. I've also found some luminglas (the flat crackle tube things) but they are expensive http://www.amazon.com/Luminglas-Ill...6?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1265154269&sr=8-6

I havn't found any yellow/red/orange plasma globes for sale though, i also wonder how they would react in the external drive bays touching all the metal and other parts. I think a luminglas behind the flash would be the best use, or maybe one on the bays.

What color do you think I should to the bars (feet/handles), the silver plastic trim will get painted yellow?

Personally I would say red, would match the colour scheme then.

Ugh, I want to mod my Cosmos now....I have ideas!! But I just don't have the time :(

    ^ Agreed.

@tkg, yeah, those are expensive. Perhaps down the road you can add it in.

    I just might.

Yeah and red that was the originol thought was red, but I think that would be over powering all that red, so I did two red and two yellow, and I can mix it up.
    I

But on a bad note I had A horrible thing happen today, I was stocked to get al the painting done and I rushed it, painting in the garage when the temperature started dropping, And all of a sudden the paint started doing wierd stuff, I was painting the lighting bolts on the case, (which looked pretty cool by the way, i have one on the top vent also), so I just thought Hey I'll wipe it off and do it tommarrow, but to my horror when I whiped it off it took the base lawer with it, ugh, I'm pretty pissed right now, i have to get more red, and wait until monday when the sun comes out again. Well at least it's just paint which can always be redone, not a cut which can't still:wallbash::duh::waah::sigh:

What do you think of my fan and lighting choices (the yellow kit was 16$ and i assume by replacement bulb and inverter have the same stuff that it has?)

I'm getting the painting mishap sorted out, going to get more red, sand off the bad stuff, do it again, and then redo the bolts. yeah more work:D

PS: I just got Win 7 64 bit and i only have 2gbs of ddr2 dual channel, any one know where I can find another 2gigs cheap because right now ddr2 is more expensive than it was when I bought my sticks.

Yeah, the kit comes with the same inverter and switch. Nice find on getting them separately for cheaper!

    SORRY,

I know this post is coming so late that I might as well be bringing a dead thread alive. Don't worry I didn't forget about the project in fact I finished, though through some turmoil. It's actually been done A while, but I've been forgetting and being busy, so I forgot to post. I don't have all the fans, havn't done any cable managment, and havn't figured out what do do with the back panel. but it's mostly done.
