    thx

Today i´ve got the next update

In the last days we spent a lot of time for the reservoir, but now it´s nearly finished...i say nearly because we´re going to add 2 plexiglas pieces (one on each side) so that we could mount and lock the reservoir inside the drive cage (but i tihnk that we will add them tomorrow) :thumb:

Like already mentioned in the last post...we started to glue all parts together to a solid unit which we could use to seperate the reservoir into 2 chambers (one for each system) :thumb:

after that we started to cut out a few plexiglas parts to build a box around the middle part....

After that we continued with the next parts....a bigger piece of smoke grey plexiglas which we will use as final cover in front of the reservoir ...so that it will perfectly fit inside the drive bays....

We also cut out 2 black plexiglas pieces which was already drilled and got threads cutted...they will be used as fill ports....

Then we made 2 big holes into the the top of the reservoir and attached the plexi pieces from the inside :D

finally we prepared and added a backside to the reservoir....

Truly excellent work, and by hand too! You were certainly deserving of that Cosmos II already without finishing the mod! Can't wait to see where it ends up!

    thx m8´s

oh thats because we made a quick test before, just to see if there are any leaks....:thumb:

me too, but i think it will take a few days until we reach that point....

And now it´s time for an update again :thumb:

In the last days we finished the work on the reservoir...therefor we had to add a small plexiglas rectangle to each side....so that we could mount the reservoir in the drive bay (and lock it´s position with the integrated mechanism)

Beside that we also made a small piece of plexiglas which will be placed in front of the reservoir just to get a nice transition from the rounded hard disk quick bay things to our reservoir....(a bit hard to explain....just a little detail)

we also made a first test with 1 led behind one of the reservoir chambers, just to see how bright it is and to get a better idea how it will look like.....

For the Mini ITX System we are going to integrate....we still needed a place where we could place all those ports...after a bit of searching...we finally found it....

we also made a nice cover for the hole....

and started to integrate all ports (we need) in it....

    thx m8´s!!! :thumb:

no heat...just glue... a lot of it :D
First we glued all those single layers onto each other ....and then we only had to glue it to the front, back and top of the reservoir...:D

Time for the next update:

After finishing the work on the reservoir we switched over to next little detail...this time a little badge which will replace the original Coolermaster Logo in the Front....

Beside that, we cut out a few plexiglas parts, which we used to build a drive cage.
Our cage fits inside a normal drive bay (for optical drives) and can hold 2 slim line Slot-In Drives.... :thumb:

We also made a first grill for the lower part of the case....(where you could mount a 2x120mm rad)....
