Has anyone here been on a course with Azlan before?

I have a course coming up next week, I haven't been to one of theirs before and they sent me a letter saying the Dress Code was "Smart/Casual."

Can anyone define exactly how strict they are with that? If you saw any of the pictures I've posted of myself you'll know why I'm asking! Basically, no matter what I wear, with pink & blue hair I'll never look properly smart. Also, I no longer have any smart clothes.

If I wear clean, neat clothes even if they're black velvet combats and black trainers d'ya reckon it'll be OK?

I'm more nervous about what to wear than the course itself!!

Any course I've ever gone on, which I'm (or my employer is) paying for can cope with whatever I feel like wearing.

You get a mix of smart and casual (and *very casual*).. however just go in what you're comfortable with. You're the customer after all.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Last one I went on was Learning Tree in London and I dyed my red hair brown & wore a pin-stripe suit only to find there were 3 of us on the course. We all gradually got less and less smart as the week went on... the red hair returned after just 1 day :)

wear what the hell you like.....

After all someone (usually the company) has payed a lot of money for you to go on these courses so there not gonna send you home like they did at school just cos your scuffy (which it doesn't sound like you are)

I think as long as your sensible (i.e no PVC bondage trousers or 37 year old tee you still haven't washed!!) you'll be fine

I have dreadlocks I feel your "no matter what I wear I don't look smart" pain

Oh and learning tree in Euston is cool... except the dinners think there posh and they arn't and the exam's are a joke... but the course itself is cool..... really gotta blag some more training from work :D :D :D

Little know fact #639: It is possible for a male human of larger than normal height and weight to fit into a 'Childs' Sulley (Monsters Inc.) outfit from The Disney Store.

Little known fact #639 subsectionII: The staff Don't know what to do if 8 people turn up on a tuesday morning and all put on Sulley outfits before browsing for a while, removing the outfits and then leaving.

OK, now I no longer care what I wear to the course, and I walked there yesterday just to see how long it takes.... I've realised they haven't sent me a start time for the course!!! I've searched the Azlan website and can't find anything about when their Instructor Led courses start. Usually the training provider sends details through, but I haven't received Jack...

Anyone know what time? 08:30, 09:00, 09:30???? I'm officially terrified I'm gonna turn up late now!!!

Most courses I've been to start at 9-9:30.. so get there for 8:30 and you can't go wrong.

I've just found out from someone at work they start at 09:30. I'm gonna turn up then, if it's wrong... well, they should have let me know.

I really didn't fancy sitting outside in an Industrial Estate for hours waiting for the doors to open!!

    Cheers KNA.
