If I cut an exhaust hole out of the top of my case what ways could I conceal it. It is a car themed mod so I was thinking about an air scoop like the BOSS FX57, however I would rather have something more original. Anyone got any ideas?

You could do a hood vent or some sort of grill. Thats all that I can think of at the moment...

Yeah, the mod I am thinking of is in British Racing Green, a front grill made to look a bit like those on old F1 cars. The only ideas I have are like the BOSS and a grill.

Would it be possible to post a few pictures of your case so we could get some ideas flowing?

What about a throttle body stack (the chrome trumpets that the engine breathes through.

    A bit like this:

Thats a really good idea, now just how to mold them onto the case.

Not sure as I don't know what else you have planned.

Another idea is instead of having a fan in the top have it in the side and have chrome exhaust pipes coming out of the sides and pointing backwards.

Really what i'd like to do (but don't have the skills) is to make a case from scratch that looks just like a mini McLaren M14D.

I wanted to do that with a McLaren MP4-22, but I didn't have the skills either. Are you also a McLaren fan then?

Not really, I used to like the older F1 stuff when I was a kid. Don't really like the modern stuff, well apart from the engines anyway.

To be honest I hadn't even thought about it untill I saw this thread and started searching for pics on the net and found that pic of the M14D and thought that would make an awesome PC :) even had ideas of using go Kart wheels etc on it but like I said i've not got the skills to do stuff like that yet. It's taking me long enough to make my car pc (which reminds me I need to start a project log when i've got time).

I will keep an eye on this though as I think it could be a cool mod.
