    where is the input on a 555 timer. Its to do with the problem Im havinf with the Rainbow circuit, I eamiled you about

    What do you mean by input pin? The 555 is a timer chip, apart from the supply voltage and some components to set the frequency it doesn't have any inputs...

    There are loads of good web pages devoted to the 555, I'd suggest hitting google :)
