Cooling CPU block materials

    I was thinking about getting some DD stuff for a watercooling rig CPU block = [​IMG]

    I noticed that its made of copper, but is there another material other than copper that could be used for the base??

    Silver would be the best, if you can afford it! if not, Aluminium is popular.

    A guy over here made a water block from a silver bullion coin.

    wrong, diamond is superior, and the best known conductor of heat. Dont say its too expensive, it is, but it is the best conductor. I dont see why a small diamond piece the size of an AMD core isnt possible though.

    WOAH...Thats a very expensive idea...diamonds.
