If I were to add a 80mm heatsink fan such as this would I be able to hook this up to the motherboard without frying the mobo? Also, if I were to attach this fan to a fan controller, would there be any problems having to do with the mobo thinking there was not a cpu fan or anything?
The rated current is: Rated Current: 0.23 A (0.276 max) Very small, you should be able to connect it anywhere you want.
