I didn't know about that, useful tip. I did try saving the basket a couple of times and just kept getting a message saying I need to have at least 1 item in it before I can save it.
Well the motherboard which was showing "stock expected today" didn't show, now saying tomorrow which is fair enough. But the Kuhler which was showing in stock at the time of order is now out of stock and no more expected until December I guess Ebuyer will be getting my money again this time as they have everything in stock and it's just a few quid more. I really like Scan and have had good service from them in the past but the stock system on their website is a joke and means buying from them can be a really frustrating experience. Oh and to top it all off I can't even cancel the order via their website, even though it isn't complete so I have to give them a call tomorrow.
New system up and running. Ebuyer were amazingly good, ordered at 9:30pm and new parts arrived before midday next day. Had some issues with Parcel Farce, though it got sorted in the end. Basically the driver was going to miss his deadline so fake signed it as delivered, which caused all kinds of hassle, as I had it delivered to work. Really happy with the cooler, though I had a problem twisting the fitting on until I realized the spacers needed to be fixed down all the way, then it was plain sailing, the instructions are terrible. I can't say I find the fan on the kuhler loud at all. Temps are mid 20's idle at stock, 40 or so under prime 95. Will give it a couple of days at stock to settle things down then start overclocking. Windows 7 is also amazingly robust, booted with my old install though I will be doing a new install tomorrow. Really happy, thanks for the help everyone
