PS2... inside my PC. I have all the measurements, and have shifted things around in my PC so that it should fit just fine. it will require:

    DVD/PS2 drive in 5" bay
Controller/Memory card ports in 3" bay
PS2 motherboard on risers at the bottom of the case
Power Supply Port/Power Switch/VGA out the back... probably going to have to cut holes for them.

    whatcha think?

Seems kind of like a waste of a case, if you don't have a real computer in there too. Also, ps2 dvd roms dont' mount the way a regular one does. But I think its possible, and you could have a pretty unique ps2.

A crazy CRAZY mod would be to put a gamecube, xbox, AND ps2 all in one case. And an nes, snes, dreamcast, and saturn. Thats unique.

I've never actually put one in a case, but I have taken them apart to fix them, and one problem you will run into is there is no cover for the dvd rom. If you took it out, it would just be spinning out in the open. That would also allow for dust to get in alot easier. It may be possible to put a pc dvd rom in, but I have never tried that. Of course just taking the cover off voids the warranty.

If anybody pots a link to that god damn "Yoshi's Boxx" I swear I'll throw my own feces at them. The guy manged to take a good idea and execute it so poorly and yet anyone who makes a similar mod (even if better workmanship is shown) they are said to be copying him. Its annoying.

Yeah, agreed. But then I don't blame Yoshi, as he was likely on a really tight timetable. Also, just shows how stupid some people are for yelling "COPY! COPYCAT! COPYCAT!" like a kindergartener with a hurt ego. :wallbash: People... I swear. Computers, I understand. But people...

    LOL!!!!

the idea is neat, but how usfull is a ps2 in your pc? it sounds good on paper, but in practice, might not be that great. and yeah, i was gunna mention that yoshiboxx, and say he did it but it kinda looked like ass, and was ghetto as hell. but hey, the guy did it.

    it's very useful for me:

makes it easier for me to use my VGA box, which I will integrate into the system so that all I have to do is change the monitor... unless I get one of those monitors with double inputs... AND, it brings me much closer to my internet. SKABOOM

...and I'm going to try as hard as hell to not make it look like ass... my comp so far is quite pretty, and like I said, matches the PS2 colors.

Wow. your right. That "Yoshi's BoX" does look like crap.

although i'm sure the whole point was to put them all in there, he could have at least put some thought into blending them all in.

    That's not a mod, it's a hack.

    Mod=artistic expressionism on electronic equipment.

Hack= hardware/analog solution to a problem, (the problem being he wanted a portable solution for all his consoles)

The navy has the same thing, to get rid of wet-erase marks on the screens.
