    Hi guys,

Following the excellent advice of Mister_Tad and his "PC Audio 101" guide, I've recently started ripping all my CD's into FLAC format (using EAC) and enjoying all the lossless goodness that goes with it.

One thing I'm slightly unsure of though is using a .cue sheet to "recreate" the original CD. I got the impression from the guide that with a .cue and the FLAC files it was possible to recreate the original CD "bit-for-bit". Is this correct? Or have I got the wrong end of the stick?

Everytime I try and use the .cue to create a CD, it say's something along the lines of "not a valid image format or cannot be found" (using MagicISO). Is there a specific app I need to do this?

    Thanks.

You'll probably need to convert the FLAC to WAV first

have a peek at the cue sheet in a text editor, that should say the filenames that its looking for :thumb:

Christ on a bike that was quick :)

I'll let you know how I get on.

    Thanks again Tad :thumb:

EDIT: Right, you are indeed correct matey, the file names in the .cue sheet refer to all the songs as .wav files so I need to convert them from .flac to .wav

Is there a "best" way/app for doing this to ensure it's 100%? Or is it fairly idiot-proof in Foobar?
