    Hi,

I was wondering if it would be possible to design your own cars in Need For Speed Underground 1 or/and 2.

If so, how would I do this?

I would want to see a bmw or other nice car in the game. So would it be possible to built the data it needs from pictures? (assuming I can get all the angles I need). I can work with Photoshop/Illustrator.

or If anybody can find a tutorial or something, or a download page where I could download these cars... that would be neat aswell.

    thanks very much

In short, no. The enthusiast community got shafted at NFS 5 or 6 i think, when EA changed the file format on their cars. There's boatloads of older models, and if someone made a tool today, some could be converted over, but considering how underground 1/2 are more complex than ever before, i dont think it's so wise. Consider the size of the cars now - each of the game's parts MUST be stored with the car and customized to it, considering the size of the files now ~25 MB - versus those before ~4 MB. So in conclusion, if you wanted to make a car, you'd need to model every body kit, spoiler, roof scoop etc for it. Waaay too much work and no way to start it.
