dear god! that colour scheme is awful. please, please invert those colours - black ON white is much more readable than white ON black EDIT: a bit harsh, I know, but I cant understand why people always use such drastic colour schemes.
i have to agree that colours need changing - the colours in your gallery is far better. also you could do with more space either side of the content - on high res's the lines are very long and it makes it harder to read. the benje section is rather better, but there are some colour problems on the right (text almost invisible). you could do with more graphics too (nothing OTT), jsut to give it a little personality.
what's so bad about the color scheme? I kinda got the idea from maddox's site, and nobody really says that's so bad anyway, what could I do to make it better? I'm not really that big on graphics, and they kinda sacrifice loading times to maybe look a little better and lots of people call me bruno dispite it not being my real name
Don't listen to them Light text on dark background is the way to go! Reduce the text size a little Graphic-less is good, again, don't listen to them
A website can always look better without graphics than with graphics if its colour scheme is well thought out.
One of the best ways to learn is just to try something and see what it does. it hurts my eyes but text based can look very kool Clickie here this is one of the pages done using mainly only text. This isn't the page I wanted but he has changed loads of it site, and I don't feel right putting the backup on with asking him. EDIT: I forgot to say those little boxes get darker the more clicks they get
