Since upgrading to Windows 10, enabling Crossfire (7850+7870) results in a black screen when attempting to load games.

Similar issues to those reported in this thread on AMD forums: https://community.amd.com/thread/186955

Latest drivers make no difference at all, Crossfire still has to be disabled for any compatible games to load correctly - those that make no use of crossfire work fine.

Tried forcing AFR mode or disabling Crossfire via profiles and this doesn't make any difference, games still don't load.

I "get" that the cards are pretty old now but they're still on the supported list for the latest drivers... Is anyone else having problems and have you managed to workaround the issues?
I'd rather not have to upgrade GPU - had hoped that adding a second card would give me a little extra grunt to extend the life of current components....
