we could do with a side-by-side comparison of the dx9 equivalents. I'm fairly sure someone will be working on doing that already.
Bit late with the DX11 innit? I finished the flipping thing ages ago and it's not good enough to be worth playing through again.
No you don't because it won't look anything like this. No game ever looks as good as the dev's 'shopped screenshots
Hmm... I thought none of them looked like in-game screenshots. Way too many after-effects that obviosuly aren't seen in game, especially in the seventh one.
I don't know why we're talking about a graphical upgrade as if it ever had even a hope of improving the actual game. Gameplay makes a game, not lighting effects and post-processing.
I haven't bought it yet, I will when this DX11 patch comes out. What I hope is also included is a fix for the AI that people complained about. That would be great, maybe a gameplay improver?
It's that AI issue that's led me to hold off buying the game as that is what effects the playability of the game rather than it's looks. A game has to be a good game first and a good looking game second.
It's better than nothing but hardly makes up for Crytek completely shafting the game in favor of console users.
Ah, but in my eyes it does because I haven't put myself through the ordeal of playing the leaked code, the multiplayer, or bought the game on release. It helped knowing that the game had been consolified before hand of course. I'm really looking forward to putting my rig through another ordeal from Crytek when this patch comes out. Sorry, I just realised how hind-sighted this sounded.
So I guess it's almost time to finally buy and play this game. Better late than never. And Gunsmith needs to finish his Ironman HD.
So does modern warfare 2 get it's cars back or is Crysis 2 going to be borrowing them for DX11 as it seemed to for DX9?
