Joe mentioned the negative reception of crysis' storyline. Am I the only person who liked the story? It was like a really, really fun Arnie film. I loved every minute of it, it did exactly what it said on the tin.

I suppose when you say 'koreans' and 'US military' people expect some harrowing socio-political commentary on the natures of both war and man, just thrown in on the side to give it a flavour of Grown Up. CoD4 gave us that, and I'd say Crysis has more replay value as a result.

I liked Crysis story and the game as whole.
    Great atmosphere and levels.
    The only problems were
    a) the last battle (too many bugs)
    b) the time required to finish the game. Too small.

I played crysis.hell i had only a geforce 7600 gs 256mb with core 2 duo 2.2gig .What i did was overclocked my card to 490mhz from 400 stock ,and memory form 800 efective ,to 900 effective (ddr2).
But you might think what was the frame rate?
It's only 18 for high settings but 800x 600 res.
crytech has buit a engine for high end graphics cards, not for mid range.
Do you want to play the warhead? Yes but only after two years when new cards comes up.

Hm. I may not be a tech pro, but I'd say a 7600 is a LOW end card, not a mid range one.

    Greetings!

To be fair, it was mid range card ~2,5 years ago.
    Now is low end.

The GS was always a low end card, sub £100 is low end (especially here)

    Greetings!

    Oh, well, perceptions...
2,5 years ago the 7600s and the X1600s were mid range.
Not the best time to buy a mid range card, though.

Back on topic, anyone else thinks this Warhead looks like a sort of "Directors Cut" of the original Crysis?
