    Awesome, seems like I'll have to buy this one now - I was tempted to give it a miss. :)

    Usually because they are left out of the loop. DRM is really the publishers area of cock up expertise.

    Im just glad it "might" run better.
    Crysis near the end every time i played it, just went hay wire each time, even
    after all the patches.

    Already pre-ordered on STEAM;

    the REAL min spec for Crysis Warhead : 8800gtx (or ATI equal), Fast, modern dual core above 2.8ghz (before overclock), Vista 64bit, 4gigs of ram, fast hard drive that is NOT the same one that you use to run your OS.

    Enjoy.

    I'm sorry, but that's ridiculous. There's no need for a separate scratch drive for a game like Crysis.

    Seriously? Vista 64bit as a min spec for Crysis Warhead? That has to be ********. EA wouldn't put out a game that requires an OS that a small percentage of actual rigs are using. Serious enthusiasts might have Vista 64, but EA make games for the lowest common denominator, hence the additional optimization for Warhead to let it run on a more mainstream machines.

    And is it just me, or does the fact Warhead is getting good benchmarks on rigs that Crysis couldn't break 30fps on a glaring indication that not only was Crysis a badly designed game, but it was a badly put together game by people who frankly, don't play a lot of games, and only wanted to show off a shiny new engine?

    I bought Crysis soon after putting my new rig together, played through the first level, then took it back to EBgames in the 7 day return period to get a copy of The Witcher. It's a 99 dollar benchmarking tool.

    Shouldn't they be working on Crysis 2 or is it different people who made this?

    Gotta say, just finished it and the reviews are pretty accurate. The game is really fun. They basically took all of the best parts from Crysis and condensed it down to a 4 or 5 hour game. The music and cinematics were pretty nice, also. It had much better pacing than the original. The shooting aspect feels much improved, too. My only complaint was that the last "boss" fight was kinda lame and the game didn't last 4 more hours.
